This weekend I kicked ass. I’m not sure where I got the energy from, but I started things off with an organized attack and just kept going. It started with a lazy Friday. Just sat there and watched some tv after a late dinner out. Then Saturday I woke up early for a hair trim. I think she took too much off, but I think the style will look better in a few weeks as it grows out. Then I got gas and went to Costco. At Costco…because you can’t just buy what you came for, I bought some flowers and veggies to plant. After that visited my family for a bit, then went to AAA to get my passport application and picture taken. Thankfully it actually looks cute! I picked up some dinner and we got in some “alone time” before hubby went to raid.
Today, I’ve planted the plants in various places in the yard, went food shopping, washed three loads of laundry including our bedding set (with Tide). Cleaned out the trash cans (washed with pine sol), washed the kitchen floor and counters and did the dishes. Then I attempted to make Chocolate Moouse from scratch. We’ll know in another hour if it turned out okay. I picked up around the house, wrote two articles for GamingAngels and am working on a game to preview. Also uploaded Wondercon videos to our Youtube channel. I have to make dinner and still have work to do on She’s Geeky. Basically still have about four items on my to do list, but I think I’m okay if I don’t get to them. I think I worked my ass off this weekend and I’m not sure where it came from.
My mom texted that I was like a Housewife of Simi Valley. haha Definitely not as glamorous as I’ve been dying to go shopping for spring clothes and skin care. Which reminds me, what do you recommend for moisturizer and dark circles? What are your favorite products? In terms of clothes, I’m in love with mint and light blue right now and must get something in those colors. But at the same time, I’m just starting to lose weight, so I don’t want to purchase anything until I start making some headway on that front.
Nothing new on the ttc front. Monitor still says high. No peak in sight. Typically O around the 14th day, which would be tomorrow, but we’ll see. I definitely already have a much more relaxed viewpoint on things. Typically I test twice to three times a day, but I haven’t at all since I got the monitor. Maybe that’s where all this energy is coming from. Cause I’m not stressed about all the other stuff. eh we’ll see.
Hope that this weekend’s ass kicking only continues during this week!
