New parents go through a lot. Sleepless nights, many many diaper changes, and times of uncertainty. We lean on each other to get through various situations because as a team, we can offer pumpkin our best.
One night in our bathroom I spotted a mosquito. Most times I would just ignore it unless it got near. But this mosquito was not getting anywhere near our pumpkin. So off I went chasing a mosquito around the bathroom until I was at last Victorious!.
I looked back at Pumpkin with pride and satisfaction knowing that she would not be bitten at least not today.
That episode would be hilarious on it’s own. But to see it repeated by my husband when we found a second mosquito was only too cute.
Pumpkin should know that she has two very protective parents. ^_^

LOL… oh girl, it’s only the beginning of the craziness that you’ll do for your kid w/o her ever knowing that you did it. Way to go momma!

Cute! I remember I made my husband go out and get an air conditioning unit for our Berkeley house during a heat wave because I was worried it would get too hot for my baby. It was only hot for 3 days. And then we moved.
