I received a Bumbo and tray for purpose of the review, but the opinions below are my own.
Bumbo is probably most well-known amongst moms for it’s Bumbo Floor seat and Tray. The floor seat and tray gives the baby an opportunity to sit up assisted and safely. The tray is a great place to put toys and early snacks.
When pumpkin was around 3 months I wanted a Bumbo very badly. She wanted to sit up all the time but couldn’t quite hold herself up once there. I looked at the competitors and knew I wanted to try a Bumbo. But then, pumpkin started sitting up on her own and the hubby voted me down on the purchase. I was excited when the company contacted me about trying one to review.
The seat itself is sturdy and more of a comfortable material than I had pictured. I guess I had always thought it was hard, but it’s pretty soft. I placed pumpkin in the seat and she really enjoyed being in it! The only negative I found is that her legs barely fit! Pumpkin does have cute, chubby legs though. I was also unable to buckle her in the seat, which I feel is a safety requirement for me to keep her in the seat. As you can see, she loves chomping on the buckles though! I did not find an age/weight max on the website, but I’m guessing at 9 months/19lbs she’s probably at it. I would definitely use the seat with smaller babies!
Here are some safety tips about placing your baby in a Bumbo seat:
With each Bumbo seat purchase, Bumbo USA helps children in Pretoria, South Africa. Bumbo supports a Special Needs daycare, a community kitchen, youth shelter, and sports center. They also do alot of community outreach. I love a company that cares enough to give back and #BumboCares.
Because you all are so awesome, Bumbo is giving one of my readers a Bumbo seat! There are a variety of ways to enter through the Rafflecopter form. But we really want to know about your inspiration or caring moments with your family! We’ll announce the winner next week and good luck!
