Last week we attended the Best of Baby & Toddler products event put on by the local ClubMomMe group. The event was held at the Sherman Oaks RightStart location. While the parking was incredibly difficult to find, the people that work at Right Start are amazing. Not only were they super nice, this is the first event I have attended that had people on hand specifically to play with the toddlers so that their parents can pay attention to the event. Loved it!
Baby Gizmo spoke at the event about all the various products for baby and toddler. Yes, even at the toddler stage, there is so much to learn about new products on the market. Plus, if you are thinking about having more children, it’s always useful to keep yourself up to date about the products that are out there. Companies are constantly improving their baby products and new products come out to the market constantly.
This is my first Club MomMe event and I have to say I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. The women were so welcoming. They had no idea who I was, but several women came up to me and just started a conversation. Because I didn’t know anyone there, it was a nice surprise to feel so welcomed. I know it can be nerve wracking to attend an event where you don’t know anyone, but Club MomMe events are definitely ones to try.
After the event, they gave away prizes! It’s fun to learn about the new products and then be hopeful about winning a product you are interested in! Club MomMe gave away so many prizes everyone in the room got at least one prize and I won two! I won a Summer Infant Pop N Play Ultimate Play yard and Summer Infant Swaddles. I can’t wait to use the Play Yard at the beach!
Next up is the Great Big MomMe Latch On event. It’s during the week, so I probably can’t attend, but I am hopefully stopping by a weekend event. I recommend joining Club MomMe’s mailing list and trying to make it out to their events some time. I wish there was a closer group to where I live, it can be difficult to get to the Valley during the week (traffic). But maybe as they grow right?
I am a Club MomMe Maven but paid to attend this event. This article reflects my impression of the event.
