Twice a year, ClubMomMe puts on an event for families, babies and toddlers. I bought our family gold tickets, a ticket for Grandma, and a VIP playdate so that pumpkin could meet Elsa. Then pumpkin got sick. She got sick early in the week. While she was better, she definitely was not 100% so we could not take her. However my husband had to take me because I still can’t drive.
The event was a little over an hour away. I think we lucked out that the 405 was clear because we hit a ton of traffic on the way back. We got there early for a blogger breakfast (pic above) while there was some disorganization, we got into the blogger breakfast and the fun started!

It was so wonderful to have time to catch up with other mom bloggers that I love so much. The food was also amazing and various company representatives took a few minutes to talk about their products and what they had there at the event. My favorite, Lansinoh has a brand new Double Electric breastpump that is AMAZING! It’s quiet so that you can actually pump while on a conference call. The flanges have this soft silicon that actually helps create a suction onto your breast. It is also insanely customizable to find your perfect suction. Which can make quite a difference in the amount of milk you get.
The other product I was super excited to hear about is the Dr. Smith’s diaper rash spray. This is a must for a squirmy baby/toddler that does not want to sit nicely for a diaper change any more. They have places to go right? It worked so well…just sprays on the area. No need to rub in. I love it and can’t wait to order it online.
We were also interested in speaking to Britax about their Click Thru Convertible seats, but we couldn’t find them after the Blogger Breakfast.
The Working Moms panel was to die for. I loved it so much. It inspired me as a working mom, blogger and entrepreneur. The panel was not only supportive of everyone, but gave great advice with how to juggle it all. Making a daily “script” is advice that Erin from ErinCondren.com gave and I love that idea. I already use her products (organizers, desk calendars) to help get me organized, but this is another step to help me balance. Tamera gave great advice about letting go and allowing your spouse to take care of baby/toddler. That while he/she may not do things exactly as you would, everything is done with love and the baby/toddler will be okay. I have to be better about this myself.
Speaking of Tamera Mowry a year ago, we did a YouTube video series with Tamera and her sister as well as a few other amazing mom bloggers. Tamera actually remembered me from our filming! She waved hi and we spoke after the panel. It was awesome and showed what an amazing person she is. Make sure to watch her on her new talk show, The Real.
I had the best time at Club Mom Me Fall Family Fest. I felt inspired, loved and that there was a real community of moms there. Hopefully I’ll continue to meet more moms at various Club Mom Me events.
