I was given a free pass to attend the media event of the Clifford Exhibit opening, but these are my opinions and our experiences.
Pumpkin loves the “Big Red Dog”. So it was a given that we had to attend the launch day of the Clifford Exhibit at Discovery Cube LA. I LOVE that they opened a Discovery Cube closer to us. The one if Orange County is great, but that drive is far and entertaining a toddler for that drive is more exhausting than the event we go to.
I love that Discovery Cube LA changes out a part of their exhibit often. During our previous visit it was Thomas the Train but the entire area was re-done to reflect the world of Clifford. Upon walking in you see the Big Red Dog and his friend Emily. The area is really recommended for children 5 and under. There is a little slide down Clifford’s tail, gardening tools for the grounds, mail to deliver in the appropriate mailboxes, and an area to play music.
There is another area with a stage and when Pumpkin pressed a button it showed an animation with music for her to dance to. I couldn’t move her from this area, so we stayed there for quite awhile. If I have time, I may post some video to YouTube channel of her dancing. ^_^
And then there were the Clifford Books. Since Pumpkin loves books, we had to read through all of them before we moved on.
The Clifford Exhibit is open at Discovery Cube LA through September 7th, 2015. The following are days your little one can meet Clifford:
July 4-5: Clifford!
July 25-26: Clifford!
August 15-16: Clifford!
September 5-6: Clifford and Malcom!
September 7: Malcom!
I know Pumpkin loved meeting Clifford. This museum is so much fun and it’s one of the few places for kids that has healthy food on site. I even bought a copy of their cookbook to try out some recipes for Pumpkin.
