*We did receive a family pass to Discover Cube LA in a previous visit, but the experiences and opinions below are my own.*
This past Saturday we visited the opening of the brand new Curious George exhibit at Discover Cube LA. The exhibit is there until January 3rd.
The great thing about these exhibits is that they really think about how kids play. Everything is accessible to the little ones from crawling to standing. The market has plush fruit and veggies they can play with, identify, weigh and even check out.
The area pumpkin loved the most is a Rocket Ship slide. She went on again and again and again and again….and again. It was almost all she wanted to do.
Behind it we played with wind and then off to the construction room. I actually have no idea what this was called, but all the kids loved it! They turn a wheel and ramps start moving. The other kids start placing cubes in the contraption and they go through the ramps until they fall on their head. Which for some reason…kids love.
This exhibit seems aged up from the previous Clifford exhibit. The golf area seemed to attract older kids but the wild swinging of the golf clubs just made me nervous. They are padded, but it seems like young kids have no concept of their circumference. Judging from the wild swings I saw everywhere.
The exhibit is great. We were there for two hours and never even saw the back half of the Curious George exhibit. There is so much to do that you can definitely visit again and again (being a passholder has it’s perks!). Check out the great park outside of Discovery Cube LA if your child still has energy to burn.
