The biggest question in my Mom groups is where can one take their toddler for Halloween? My answer, Knott’s Spooky Farm! Yes, I know this might seem odd since Knott’s is known for it’s amazing Knott’s Scary Farm, but they do an amazing job of celebrating Halloween with the little ones too!
In Camp Snoopy, there is a new Halloween show with all the Peanuts gang. “The Monsters are Coming, Charlie Brown” is a fun, not scary show for the littles. The dance party continues at “Monster Masquerade Ball Karaoke” where there is spooky karaoke and mask making.
Speaking of masks…this is the only time we could get Pumpkin to wear her’s but seriously how cute is this?
From there kids ages 3-11 can go Trick or Treating in Ghost Town, and head through a “Spooky Hollow Maze”. To be honest, we skipped both of these. Pumpkin doesn’t really eat candy or trick or treat yet and she wouldn’t do well in a maze. But I’m sure older children would have a blast.
Because we skipped those areas, we took the opportunity to go on some of the rides in Camp Snoopy that Pumpkin had not been on before. It’s amazing how well she does with going on rides by herself! She absolutely loved Woodstock’s Airmail and Pig Pen’s Mud Buggies. Check out all the Camp Snoopy rides to get details on height requirements etc.
We didn’t get to see all of the Knott’s Spooky Farm fun because it’s all about pacing with a toddler and sometimes they reach their limit before you do. The great thing is we felt like we got to experience a large portion of the park and participate in the Halloween fun!
Not only is it a fun day out with the family, but tickets are very reasonably priced and the Halloween Spooky Farm events are part of your ticket! You can buy them online and get a discount here.
