Of course I take crazy one step further…that’s just who I am. I have associated every bowel movement with starting spotting. It just seems to coincide. So if I have to around those days…it’s like I know af is going to start. I dread the bathroom so much one week a month. It’s amazing.

Saturday, I took my parents to Disneyland to celebrate Mother’s day. We had a blast, but toward the middle of the day I started seeing women with this purse that was just too adorable. It had a vintage look and had the different areas of the park on it. Immediately I looked on my smart phone for any clue. Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything. Then while purchasing my Skagen Mickey Mouse watch, (which I love and my parents surprised me by buying it for me!), we saw a sign with the purse I was lusting after all day.

Turns out that during the day Dooney & Bourke Creative Director, Ian Ray and Disney Design Group Graphic Designer, Susan Foy were signing for the launch of the “Retro Collection”. The collection ranges from $78 – $268. The site does not say if there will be more of these sold throughout the year. It seems that the Retro collection will be exclusive to Disneyland Resort. I read online that there might be a specific one for Walt Disney World so maybe I’ll pick that up when I’m at SheCon Expo – where I’m speaking at the end of the month!

There are more bag types but the ones in this post I’m leaning towards (only one of course). What do you think of this awesome new collection?

I basically cried immediately. It was about the sweetest and best thing he could have done in the whole world. The TTC road is not easy and we have learned alot together about the process and each other. We’ve had good days and we’ve had bad days but overall, the most important thing is that we are a team. It’s moments like these that I will remember forever.

Hi everyone! This is my second round of Sunday Confessions! The link up is from Alyx at Every Day is a New Adventure. I love this because it encourages us to be honest with ourselves and our readers. ^_^

This week I only have a couple things to share:

1. I can’t wait for the heat! I want to wear dresses like all summer. Of course I’m not at my ideal weight, but fuck it. I want to be sassy in many beautiful summer dresses. I don’t pay full price for my summer dresses. I purchase most of my dresses at TJ Maxx or on sale at the mall.

2. I want to sew. I have been looking up tutorials for a couple of things I want to sew. Hopefully I’ll get to start a project this weekend. I’m trying to use fabric I already have instead of spending more money.

3. I have decided to try cooking a meal once a week. Go ahead and laugh, but I HATE being in the kitchen. But I should learn to cook a few more dishes so that DH doesn’t have to cook all the time. Maybe this way we’ll try new dishes and find things we like. Of course I did buy chocolate chip cookies to make…but that doesn’t count.

My Ovulation Chart

This week you get a bonus. That’s right, I had an extra helping of crazy this week. I typically get strong ovulation pains throughout ovulation. Typically only one side. But this month I got pains on each side. My right side started at 5pm and then my left side started at 10pm that same night. Ovulation and fertilization of both eggs is how fraternal twins are created. Of course my mind immediately filled with hope. So much hope that I also dreamed about it that night. A guy was escorting me around and was saying, make way lady pregnant with twins coming through. lol

When it comes to gadgets, I have this weird feeling in me that I have to have it now. Various gadgets get announced, or I’ll see something at a conference like CES and I’m like a kid in the candy store. Just a few steps before tantrum phase. Usually I can withhold my wants until release day. Lately, I’ve been good at waiting a month or two outside of release day. But this year has been SO HARD.

This year I haven’t had much disposable income. Much of what I have is going to GamingAngels, or various convention trips where I’m speaking. The price increase of health care hit my paycheck pretty hard since I didn’t get a raise last year. I now have to be careful what I spend my money on. Matt also wants us to work on savings which is a great idea, just not good for someone that is yearning to buy gadgets.

The two gadgets that are haunting me are the PS Vita and the new iPad. With the iPad, I waited patiently from iteration to iteration…saying okay when it has a camera that will be good. Okay, when it has the super amazing OH-MY-GOD screen that will do it. Now I’m tired of waiting. But the cost is what is holding me back. Those suckers are super expensive. Matt and I want to pull the trigger on it, but we go back and forth about the timing. When is the right time for us to buy. Let’s just say that is pure torture. I can almost feel it in my hands. The weird thing is…I already have buyers guilt. The iPad is so expensive that my mind floods with all the things we need or how long that money could buy us food for. When did thinking responsibly enter this conversation?

The other gadget I want is a PS Vita. God I want one badly. I played the heck out of my PSP. Granted, I don’t have the time to play a PS Vita right now. But I’m hoping after con season that I do. That is when I will jump to make the purchase. Hopefully with a slew of hot games announced for the holidays, the PS Vita will be my most treasured gaming device.

Beyond that, I’m on the look out for a better smart phone. A better handheld video camera (we use the Kodak Zi8 for GamingAngels and they don’t make them anymore), and I’m sure there is more if I sat to think about it. But I don’t want to get depressed. It was hard enough getting headphones to review that specifically said they could work with the PS Vita. /sigh. Few things in life bring me more joy than playing with a new gadget. There’s something about getting to experience the innovation and interpret what its potential. I also want to be someone who talks and writes about gadgets that are useful in my life. Hard to do when you can’t afford them. lol

I guess for now….I’ll be left wanting.

After having an amazing time hanging out with the So Cal Lady Bloggers group, I am trying to expand my horizons. I found this Sunday Confessions blog hop on Every Day is a new adventure and decided to jump right in. Hopefully this will be a way for you to get to know me and maybe you’ll share as well.

1. I wanted to be on the Drill team in High School. When they said that Drill team was being combined with tall flags I almost lost it. But it turns out my high school years with my fellow Danceguard members were some of the best moments of my life. (I’m the first person on the left in the picture.)

2. I have always felt that GamingAngels isn’t more popular because I’m not thin. Which is why I don’t get called to alot of video shoots to talk about games. While I beat myself up about it on the inside, it hasn’t been enough to make me crash diet or work out like crazy. I want to lose 20 pounds to be healthy, but I don’t have the motivation. I had the motivation a month ago with cardio barre, but I had a flare up and haven’t been able to go back. Now my schedule is crazy balls, and I can’t do Cardio Barre until August maybe July.

3. Because every post needs some Chris Hemsworth….I have to say I love the Avengers, but I still love the JLA more. I just want to see an awesome Wonder Woman movie or tv show made before I die. Maybe Joss can take up the helm since Avengers is going to go gang busters. Also…I’m using images of Chris to help turn me on for baby making. ^_^

A guy can take a Sperm Analysis test. Typically these tests are ordered after a woman has completed a bunch of tests herself and a couple has been trying for many months (6 months to a year). Guys don’t like the idea of this test for a couple of reasons. First, it seems to hit their ego. Second, guys have to provide a sample and a Dr’s office can probably be a difficult place to get aroused.

For those reasons, dh and I agreed to try an at home Sperm Analysis test first. If the test was negative, then he’d have to go straight to the doctor for further tests. If it’s positive, then I give us both through the summer trying and then we both go to the Dr for various tests.

I ordered SpermCheck Fertility test from CVS.com. I think at this time, the test is not available in stores. I would recommend trying Walgreens.com because ordering from CVS was horrible. They had no correspondence. No where on the order did it say it would take a long time to deliver, but around five weeks later, I called them to see where the package was. CVS had no idea. I ended up getting the package two days later.

The box comes with everything you need. Kindof. This week was actually our second attempt at the test. The box comes with a cup for the sample, a stirrer, the test and a solution bottle. My advice is ditch the cup right away. It’s just too small. The first attempt dh missed the beginning of his “release”. According to the instructions, this invalidated the test. Basically you have to dump the sample and wait at least another 48 hours. Get a sample cup from a dr or maybe the pharmacist. Also, I recommend helping dh. Why leave him to do it all by himself?

After you get the sample, let it sit for at least 20 minutes. Then you stir it (with the included stirrer). At this point, you open the solution bottle and place it in the box. The stirrer is also a plunger type thing that can take a portion of the sample to place into the solution. Then you close the solution bottle and turn it upside down 10 times.

The box comes with a ton of instructions. Make sure you follow them to a T. Everything says that at any time if you don’t follow the steps, it can invalidate the test. It’s a bit scary and overwhelming. The steps are simple, but it’s stressed so often that you must be exact that I did wonder before we started if we should just ditch it and go to the doctors. It then sits for a couple of minutes and you put six drops on the test. In EXACTLY seven minutes, you can check the test to see the results. It says not to look early but of course I was watching it the whole time. I could see a line starting to come in. The box says that it doesn’t matter what the color of the test line is. Just that it is there. I called dh over to see the test and he really didn’t want to see it. But I told him that it was positive, and he instantly felt better.

I would recommend this test as an early measure. Maybe just to get dh to understand what you are going through. The problems with the test is that it is very precise and that in itself is scary. Also, the cup is far too small. My largest issue with this test is that it doesn’t really tell you much. While you may have a ton of sperm, it can be misshaped or doesn’t move at all. Movement might be the most important measurement of all. But in the end, it is a good step to get dh on board and to understand what tests are like.

I updated GamingAngels with a new theme. This is because we want a more blog look so that posts get more attention and the site is easier to read. The news is still separated because that updates the most. But the last two days after creating the theme and trying to make it work, I have been working with our host because the site’s CPU load has been crazy! I’m hoping it’s cause of a bad plugin which I have no uninstalled. In fact I’ve uninstalled most of them.

If you are running a WordPress site, upgrade to the latest version of WordPress and install P3. The Performance Profiler Plugin shows you at a glance what plugins may be the issue. In my case, it is showing that the plugins aren’t the issue. So at least it helps in my discussion with the webhost about what the potential issue may be.

We still have to work on the design elements of GamingAngels. I have an interview to transcribe and post tonight. As well as one or two news posts. I have a game to play for review, a book to read for review and a comic book for review. I’m already tired just thinking about it.

I’m wrestling with if I’m going to go work out tonight. While I want to, because I went Sunday and I need to get back in the game, that’s an hour I’m not working on the 10 billion other things I have to do. I need to go through emails. Make sure we’re getting our E3 appointments. Yes, those are starting to come in! It’s amazing. E3 is so close! I’m ecstatic about what our coverage is going to be like having four of us there and having a hotel room right next to the convention center. No more having to worry about traffic. We can update from our rooms and still go out to the parties. I hope it will be the most fun we’ve had yet. I’m even designing bling tastic shirts for us to wear. hehe

I just zoned out there for a bit. Yep it’s time to go home. Still not sure if I’m going to work out…
