For this article we received products from the company. The video and text below are my thoughts on those products. ^_^
I’m pretty lucky that so far, pumpkin doesn’t seem to have many allergies. She’s allergic to dog and cat hair and saliva but we haven’t seen any strong food allergies yet. But having food allergies is becoming extremely common. One in 13 children suffer from allergies and it can be difficult to make sure your child is protected in case of a reaction.
Mom and entrepreneur Iris Shamus created MyMediMates as a way to help parents keep their kids safe. Her products clearly call out what allergies a baby/toddler/kid has so that other adults can be aware at all times. There are wristbands made with cute characters that are symbols for Dairy allergy or Peanut allergy for example.
For this review we received an Allermates EpiPen or Allergy Medicine Carrying Case and a I have Allergies reusable snack bag. You can see details about both in the video review below. I showcase how these awesome products fit really easily in a diaper bag. Since one of the most common questions I see on my mommy and me group boards is how to carry Epi-Pen in your diaper bag.
A couple of things I thought of after I made the video is that the Medicine Carrying Case can also fit a NoseFrida easily. I also plan to put pumpkin’s breathing treatment medicine in it as well as instructions on how to use it with the nebulizer for daycare (or grandma’s).
